Google doc embedded images not downloading to pdf
From Google Drive, upload the file If you don’t have automatic conversion enabled,right-click and convert to Google Doc I haven’t yet worked out a clean workflow for converting OpenOffice docs with embedded drawings.
Google comes to rescue you in such situations by offering an online viewer, which can also be easily embedded to view popular file formats in your browser. Many people who browse the Internet have come across files that cannot be viewed within the browser of their choice.
I think that is something that only works when one is viewing the files inside Google Drive and not the shared folder view. I can’t even select the files and there is no “more” button in the shared view. Probably have to cancel my Drive subscription and move my stuff to Dropbox or something else.

Office respects these permissions, so you may not be able to embed some fonts, or the resulting document may not be editable after fonts are embedded. In other words, the recipient may only be able to view and print the document, not view it. It depends on the fonts you’re using.
Do not upload Google Doc (.gdoc) files directly to file does not store the document, but contains a reference to it online, in Google Docs. Adobe® PDF Turnitin will not accept PDF image files, forms, or portfolios, files that do not contain highlightable text (e.g. a scanned file – usually an image), documents containing multiple files or files created with software other than Adobe Acrobat®.
