Images look blurry in interactice pdf
I’m using the Avenue template with the site width set to 1000px wide. When displaying an image that’s larger than 1000px (I’ve made most images 1500px wide so they look nice on retina) the images look fuzzy and not sharp.

While we use this library latest version to generate pdf out of html files, images look blurry in the generated pdf. Screenshot of the html file opened in chrome:
The blurriness appears to conform with the file’s Image Size settings. But when saved and printed as a Photoshop PDF , the text layers will remain razor sharp ! 3.9k Views · View 3 Upvoters
In Paint and as a PDF the image looks great yet when I published it in wordpress it looks a bit blurry. Whats really odd is that when published on a page its blurry but when I added it to a widget -page banner it looks perfect. What could be the difference in creating the blurry image?

3/09/2015 · I’ve been updating my printer/scanner software whenever it comes up in Software update. I notice dthat the scans that I’ve made in the past few months look blurry, and now that I have some color scans (i.e. bank statement with colot not just B/W) they also look faded.
After comparing the image, if you notice that Google Earth shows a lower resolution image, there are a couple of quick fixes in local settings. Layers and anisotropic filtering can interfere with the images, making them look blurry, so turn off all layers in the Places Panel. Click on “Tools,” “Options,” “3D View” and turn off anisotropic filtering.

23/07/2013 · The issue is that IE9 display vector image as pixcelate image if the image is re-sized to a smaller size. So if there is no work around method, I may have to re-size the image in photoshop. Replace png with gif doesn’t work.

I am continually encountering cases where the images provided to me by users/customers look right when they are viewed in IE or image viewer, but when they are inserted into a PDF the sizing is off, or they are blurry, or the background is some strange color.
